After studying Mathematics at Western University, the Timmins, Ontario native completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine at McGill University. Soon after, Dr. Bisson was accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at The University of Connecticut. Ever since, Dr. Bisson has dedicated many hours of postgraduate education to learn how to care for patients at the highest ethical and professional level.

In addition to Family Dentistry, Orthodontics and Cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Bisson is trained in the analysis of bite problems and related disorders of the TMJ’s (jaw joints). The goal is always a completely comfortable bite in harmony with the muscles and joints.Despite Andre’s numerous academic and professional achievements, he remains a highly grounded individual who immediately eases any anxiety you may have about “the dentist”. Married and a father of three, Dr. Bisson quickly makes his patients, no matter what their age, feel at ease and certain that they are in trusted hands. He is very quick to gain the confidence of his patients, even those who have had a previous dental experience which may have left them hesitant about seeking the care and treatment they need and deserve.

Dr. Brookelyn Pettigrew has a passion for dentistry. In fact, she loves teeth so much, there is one tattooed on her hand! After completing her DDS from the University of Toronto, she’s really ecstatic to be back working in the Guelph area.

Throughout Dr. Pettigrew’s schooling, it became clear how much of an impact dentistry has on peoples lives. This lead her to be Co-President of a University of Toronto theatrical performance, where proceeds helped provide low-income patients with dental treatment. Throughout her residency, Dr. Pettigrew was exposed to a wide range of patients with complex medical and treatment needs, allowing her to better serve her current patients. Working with marginalized populations has also fostered her passion for preventive dentistry, and has given her invaluable experience treating highly anxious patients. “I have made it my mission to create a tranquil environment, so that people can feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits.”

Dr. Pettigrew shows proficiency in all facets of general dentistry, however her specific interests include oral surgery, cosmetic and pediatric dentistry.

Outside of the office, Dr. Pettigrew values staying active and enjoys running, hot yoga, and weight training. Dr. Pettigrew also prioritizes quality time with family and most weekends you can find her relaxing in nature at her family’s cottage or cooking!

Dr. Taggar is proud and excited to be serving Guelph! Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Dr. Taggar graduated from Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry and now calls Kitchener her home. Having treated many patients from diverse backgrounds, ages, and medical complexities, her approach to quality care always centered on making her patients feel heard and supported.

Dr Taggar’s treatment philosophy parallels that of Bisson Dentistry in that patients will be empowered to make informed decisions regarding their health. Dr. Taggar is dedicated to walking beside you as a supportive presence along your oral health journey whilst providing you with compassionate care alongside the fantastic team at Bisson Dental.

On her spare time, Dr. Taggar enjoys raising her mischievous and playful goldendoodle, Leo, camping and hiking in the wilderness of Ontario, going on spontaneous road trips and foodie adventures with friends and family, putting her green thumb to use in the garden, and learning the acoustic guitar!
